Biomass and Waste to Energy

biomass burning

Biomass combustion (such as chicken manure combustion) requires control of NOx, SO2, and PM. The traditional solution is SNCR denitrification+DSI dry desulfurization+bag filter. However, due to the release of a large amount of HCl during the combustion of chicken manure, in order to improve the NOx removal efficiency, the injection of reducing agent ammonia water is usually increased in the SNCR stage when using this process. This undoubtedly increases the possibility of ammonium chloride formation in the DSI dry desulfurization stage. When a large amount of ammonium chloride condenses in the flue gas, visible smoke plumes will be formed.

The ZTW Ceramic Integrated Solution completes the reaction with HCl in advance by injecting adsorbents, eliminating the influence of HCl and significantly reducing the formation of ammonium chloride, thereby eliminating this characteristic plume.

Wastewater and sludge gasification

Wastewater sludge gasification is a thermochemical treatment method that converts carbonaceous materials into solid ash and clean, usable combustible gases. Generally speaking, sludge from sewage treatment plants is decomposed into biological fly ash and generator gas. Biological fly ash serves as a substitute for coal fly ash in the cement industry, while generator gas provides energy for drying biological sludge.
The ZTW Ceramic Integrated Solution can also provide an efficient flue gas pollutant treatment solution for sludge gasification treatment through a desulfurization and denitrification process mainly based on ceramic catalytic filter tubes.
